The Dirty Work of The justice system

Four teens wrongfully convicted in Chicago without hard evidence! Coming into this case the police didn't have full evidence that this was there DNA. The teens arrested and held accountable were Omar Saunders, Marcellius Bradford, Larry Ollins, and his cousin, Calvin. All of these  men were of African descent from a Black Neighborhood.. In this case many techniques were used to get these men to testify to the rape and murder of Lori Roscetti a medical school student. During trials the police would put the teens against each other. In the trials the prosecutor said hat whoever committed the crime wasn't him which helped the teens confess against each other in a false form.

The police played games with these teens. They would question them for hours about something they didn't do, And than one kid finally said I want to go hoe. The police said If you want to go home your going to have to fill out this form. When he filled out this form it was a basic signed piece of evidence about the rape that said that they were guilty. The were than arrested and kept for future questioning and later prison.

This case makes me feel a lot of anger. It makes me wonder if the entire US justice system is a hoke. Maybe the police working trhis case were so involved that they truly believe it was these four teens. I believe this was power associated accusations. The police kept accusing these men even though they didn't do it. I still believe in US law enforcement but I believe the power these men had really set them over the edge when it came to throwing these men in prison for a falsely accused crime. The only problem I can find with the law enforcement is the power behind it.

Are you smarter than a chimpanzee? One of the smartest animals and mammals on the planet have special skills that beat a humans neuroscience when it comes to competition. As you might of know, the chimpanzee is the closest species to a human. The DNA of a chimpanzee and a human are closer than those of Zebras and Domesticated horses. Yet, Chimpanzees and humans have certain distinct physical characteristics and different intelligence feats.

What Colin Camerer has found out about Chimpanzees is that they are set to more of a game setting than humans are. When it comes to competing Chimps are way faster than us humans. Humans aren't able to predict what others think as fast as Chimps can. Chimps process moves and are steps ahead of humans when it comes to analyzing. A Chimpanzees' Neuroscience is set up to where it is set for competing and analyzing and actually competes at larger scale than the human or human brain. They conducted on chimps where they gave them a number sequence for a fifth of a second and let them than decide where those went.
When compared to a human's speed it is unreal. No human can keep up with a Chimpanzee with this. And like humans the younger Chimps were faster than the older ones.

In conclusion, I believe humans have been found inferior when it comes to competition. Chimpanzees are our closest ancestor and are one of the closest connections in DNA sequences to us unlike many things. I believe these lower intelligence life forms have been found to be better in a certain field. I believe it is a great discovery for humans and human research.

Forks Over Knives

With Obesity rates on the high, Americans and other countries are not fighting to protect their health. The movie forks over knives has taught us how to protect our health and fight for a healthier future. Humans have been becoming overweight after the past 70 years, yet no one has tried to fight it. With diabetes and many other health related diseases as high as ever we need to stop this problem now.
To fight obesity we need to look at our past and what we ate 90 years ago when Americans were quite healthy. In the American diet we ate half as much meats, dairy, poultry and sugar. We also ate more plant-based foods back 90 years ago.In this movie they said if you ate a 20% casein diet which means 20% dairy you increase the risks of cancer and cancer bearing tumors. See, Humans aren't meant for an animal based diet. Humans are Omnivores meaning we can eat anything we want to, but the further you go back in time the more you see that we ate more and more plants. Our body is designed to run off of plants and it's only designed to in take a certain amount of meat. This westernized diet needs to be controlled we all need to eatwer meats and more plants. That way we all become healthier and we might get to live past our parent's generation
Ever since I watched this video I'v been taking a stand up to fight obesity and diabetes and started to eat healthier. I've ate a salad with every meal since than. I'm already really healthy but I'm wondering what this salad approach will help me with. I believe it will make me healthier in the long run and will give me a way to tame hunger in which I don't have to eat unhealthy. I'm really appalled by this video because so many people can take a change and stand up against this obesity yet they don't.I believe if all Americans watch this video we can take a real fight against obesity and health issues. Let us make food our medicine.

A Chimp's Story

A chimp named Lucy who was a big part of the Temerlin(a psychology major) life and studies. The other day we learned about this significant individual who was raised to be human. Lucy was born a Chimpanzee and than she was given to the Temerlin household as an experiment. At a young age Lucy would show signs of Human like behavior. One of Lucy's daily habits was she would go into the kitchen put a pot full of water on the stove and make herself a cup of tea. Lucy was also taught to sign so she could communicate with her Handlers and her non-biological Parents.
Lucy was famous and notorious for drinking gin when she hit a higher age in her life. One day she walked out of the Kitchen with a bottle of gin and a magazine. That magazine ended up to be a Playgirl magazine and Lucy was masturbating to the site of a human. Lucy had managed to take the vacuum from a local closet and do these dirty deeds.
Than Lucy hit an age around 12. Lucy was becoming very destructive and would go around the house tearing things apart. It wasn't hard for Lucy to go into a clean room and turn it into a disaster in seconds. She would break dry wall and would break vases and throw books across rooms. At this point the Temerlins had to give her up and send her off with her caretaker Janis Carter to a Wildlife sanctuary on an Island. On this Island Lucy didn't get along at first but she soon adapted due to the help of Janis Carter when Janis Carter ate a leaf and than Lucy started too. Janis would visit this Island each year to see how Lucy was doing but the last year she visited the Island Lucy was only a pile of bones. Lucy's life had been taken by poachers and that was the end of her story.
I feel this story is very sad and very interesting at the same time. Lucy was such a sweet ape and I'm guessing that is why she was killed. It is a mean and disturbing thing to say but Lucy was raised as a human like Caesar in Rise Of The Planet of the Apes. Lucy went off and probably tried to greet these humans with sign language and at that moment she was shot and torn apart. If Lucy wasn't raised by humans at first she wouldn't have been killed. Yet even though this happened I find it very interesting she was raised as a human. It reminds of the Socialization project last year. It reminds me how people have been socialized to be dogs or to like what their parents like. It tells me that not only humans can be socialized to be something they are not. I find this very interesting and to be a good study for humans due to the fact a Psychology teacher did this study. It is very awesome.
